Army goaltender Jacob Biron, the son of former Buffalo Sabres goalie and current team broadcaster Martin Biron, will take part in the club's 2026 Development Camp this week.
Biron, a college junior, has appeared in seven games across two seasons with the Black Knights. He's compiled a 2.71 goals against average and .920 save percentage while serving as the backup to JJ Cataldo.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound netminder was born in East Aurora, a suburb of Buffalo, and was part of the Buffalo Junior Sabres program before playing two seasons with the CCHL's Kemptville 73's.
Biron, 21, has yet to hear his name called in the NHL Draft and is expected to continue his collegiate career at Army in 2026-27.

- Goalie Yevgeni Prokhorov is looking to make a statement about his NHL future after a breakthrough season with the MHL's Dinamo-Shinnik Bobruysk in Russia.
