It’s another edition of Buffalo Sabres fans mailbag! I asked Sabres fans how many wins did they think the team would get.

It’s another week of Buffalo Sabres fans mailbag! This time around, I asked Sabres fans how many wins did they think the team would get this season. You guys delivered and I will break down your predictions in this article. I’ll start with the replies in Facebook then transition into Twitter.

Here are all of the predictions on Facebook:

Jason: 37, Aaron: 42, Chad: 43, Eric : 44, James: 44-46, Allan: 45  Mark: 47, Magnus: 49  Greg: 51. Safe to say that the fans who responded are very hopeful for the Sabres this season. And why wouldn’t they be? Even though Buffalo had a losing record last year, they looked competitive for the first time in a long time. I truly do expect them to win more games this season.

How many games will the Buffalo Sabres win in 2022-23?

This is a great way to look at it. For the minimum wins, 35 is fair. This team is definitely capable of finishing the season with at least 40 wins. Late 30’s is another good range for minimum wins. While I think they will be much better this season, I see them finishing with more than 38 wins.

Another fair prediction. Especially in a tough division, this is a good win and point total prediction. A couple of fans said 42. One thing I’m noticing in these replies, fans are predicting the Sabres to have wins in the 40’s.

Lastly, a couple more fans said 48. I’ve said this so many times in my articles and I’m going to say it once again, I do think Buffalo is capable of having a great season. Is it crazy to think about after what Sabres fans have witness the last decade or so? Yes.

However, this team has the core players it needs to get into the postseason. They also have the coaching and management to get there as well. It’s up to next to go out there and execute. Besides, the Buffalo Sabres have shocked the world in the past.
